GRILL
OPERATORS |

Our
Grill Operators are world famous for cooking all food to order in at unbelievably
fast pace. This fast paced skilled position requires concentration and a
great attitude. You will work with other Grill Operators as a team both
leading and following.
PURPOSE
AND NATURE OF THE JOB
The
ensure total Customer satisfaction and provide friendly, courteous, and
efficient service.
SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Greet
each Customer who enters the restaurant.
-
"Call
Back" the order by repeating each salesperson's call-in to ensure
the correct for is pulled.
-
Pull
all food items to the proper location.
-
Prepare
each item as it is outlined in the Grill Operator manual.
-
Promptly
call Salespeople to pick up their food once it's complete.
-
Assist
the Salesperson whenever possible to ensure great Customer Service.
-
Prep
all necessary food items in advance and insure you have enough on hand
prior to beginning of the shift.

SALESPEOPLE |
|
We
call our servers Salespeople. Your job will be to sell not only the food,
but the Waffle House concept. This position is fast paced and requires the
ability to multi-task, a great smile and interaction with the public. The
ability to work well in a team is a MUST.
PURPOSE
AND NATURE OF THE JOB The
ensure total Customer satisfaction and provide friendly, courteous, and
efficient service. SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Greet
each Customer who enters the restaurant.
-
Beat
the Customer to their seat, then present a menu and complete setting
of silverware.
-
Help
the customer make their selection.
-
Write
each Customer a guest check and price each item.
-
Stand
on the mark. Call order loudly and clearly.
-
Wait
and listen for the Grill Operator to call back the order and watch the
ensure that they correctly pull the food and mark the plates.
-
Deliver
the drink order and anticipate your Customer's needs by placing
everything on the table/counter that they may need.
-
Promptly
deliver the completed hot food order. Total the guest check and
present it to the Customer.
-
Courteously
follow to pre-bus the table and take a dessert order.
-
Collect
payment promptly at the cash register and thank the Customer for
eating at our Waffle House.
-
Clean
and bus tables.
-
Wash
dishes.
-
Perform
side work such as refilling salt and pepper shakers, sugar, napkins
and condiments.
-
Clean
all areas used including silver holders, pie racks, as well as
bathrooms.

CORP |
|
While
not as fast paced as Grill Operator or Salesperson, the Door Corp position
has it's own challenges. This position requires the ability to stay
organized and interact with the public. A friendly outgoing personality is
a MUST.
PURPOSE

ensure total Customer satisfaction and provide friendly, courteous, and
efficient service. SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES

Open
front door and welcome each Customer with a friendly greeting and
smile.

Introduce
yourself and assure Customers of a short wait.

Ask
and record Customer's name and party size.
-
Direct
Customers to the coffee bar and waiting chairs.
-
Present
menus to waiting Customers.
-
Help
prepare dirty tables for bussing.
-
Show
Customers to their table in appropriate order.
-
Assist
in maintenance of coffee bar.
-
Say
"Thank You, Come Again" to each departing Customer.
-
Clean
the front door glass, Customer area, restrooms, and porch area as
needed
